About Nora Anna Maria Wiedemann

WHO AM I?
I grew up between Hong Kong and the Philippines, surrounded by the wisdom of Chinese medicine masters and a deeply communal culture—elders, mothers, and families living together, sharing care and life.
At 14, reading The Power of Now (Eckhart Tolle) sparked my journey of inner exploration. I would rise at 4 a.m. for morning practise before school, beginning what would serve as the foundation of very stormy years.
In my teens, my curiosity led me into spiritual and philosophical study—non-dualism, Buddhist teachings, Psychology, philosophy—searching for language to make sense of the body, mind, and spirit. These years unfolded in turbulence— eating disorders, anxiety, and depression were woven through those chapters. In the midst of it, meditation and Breathwork became steady lifelines, offering moments of quiet amid the storm.
Academically, I’ve explored many disciplines—3 years of an interdisciplinary degree in Politics, Psychology, Law, Economics (major in Psychology). Month-long Mentorships in Breathwork under 2 incredible teachers. Foundations & Advanced doula trainings. A 6 year degree in Chinese Medicinal Herbalism, and Acupuncture and many clinical internship hours with incredible practitioners.
But, beyond all my studies, my greatest teachers have always been—and will always be 2 things—my own body and nature.
Motherhood deepened this learning in unexpected ways. The birth of my daughter initiated a profound transformation, reshaping how I understand care, change, and life’s cycles. It sparked a deep passion for holding space through pregnancy, birth, and the tender transitions that follow.
Academically, my work has explored these themes through both research and tradition. My theses focused on lactation outcomes and Chinese herbalism, and on acupuncture for postpartum care, grounding my practice in a blend of evidence and ancestral knowledge.
Over time, I’ve come to trust the power of interweaving disciplines in all my work. Each space is a uniquely woven fabric of what is needed, what is felt and what wants to emerge. Sometimes that looks like acupuncture and breathwork; other times, it’s mapping your internal family while stimulating acupressure points, or using breath to support the intensity of birth. In postpartum spaces, it might mean emotional release work held with deep care. No two sessions are the same—everything is shaped by what’s present and needed in the moment.

HOW DO I WORK?
In the Circle: Wisdom in your system
Wisdom in Y(our) System is a 12-month online community circle exploring one meridian each month, you create a personalized body-map that integrates organs, emotions, ancestral patterns, and habitual mechanisms. Participants engage in hands-on practices, somatic processing, acupressure, ritual, and grief tending—learning to sense, move, and care for all parts of ourselves in non-fluffy and grounded approaches.
We unlearn a lot, unshame a lot. Simple but profound work. I always say; let the body lead and the mind follow. This is our journey.
1:1 Mentorships
1:1 Mentorships offer the most intimate container. A space for individuals (or practitioners) looking for personally tailored practices and intensive support-whether it’s somatic Internal Family Systems constellations, emotional release work, Herbalism, Chinese acupressure, or Breathwork. We meet online (or in-person; on request) 1-2 times per month, with each session lasting 1.5-2 hours. We start by exploring whatever theme, topic, or question arises for you, and from there, we explore together. Life transitions, integration work, Mother-to-Maiden journeys. Anything is welcome.
*This is not a replacement of therapy under a licensed psychologist/ psychiatrist. I do not work with anyone in active treatment for any DSM-5 Diagnosis.
Psychosomatic Doula Care
In my doula care, I support you with 3-5 pre-natal sessions throughout your pregnancy, am on call from 37 weeks, and am present during your birth, followed by a closing postpartum session with the option for additional support. Rather than focusing solely on education, we tune into what your body is communicating—exploring the stories, beliefs, sensations, and "symptoms" that arise each week. I work with Ritual, Somatic Internal Family Systems, Chinese Medicine and of course all the usual Doula support (education, birth positions, preparation, labour support).
